Reka Cables’ solar power plants produced more electricity than the previous year

In 2022, Reka Cables utilized 122 MWh of self-produced solar electricity, the amount of electricity produced increased by about 7% compared to the previous year. Thanks to the electricity produced by the solar power plants put into operation in Keuruu and Riihimäki in autumn 2020, we have now avoided a total of 26 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The calculation is based on avoided electricity production emissions, where the average electricity production CO2 emission factor can be used.
